I decided to start this space, so as to document my journey as a private practitioner, share my experiences and encourage folks to receive care, achieve congruence, and build connections to resource themselves in this life we have. Why did I choose 'Care🫴Connection🌳Congruence🪷' as my tagline? I believe that all of us have the right to receive care as a human on this earth. Care is not limited to physical care, but extends to emotional, psychological, and spiritual aspects. This also ties in with my admiration for the work of Carl Rogers, the father of person-centered approach, and my resonance with his concept of unconditional positive regard being a helpful tool in building healthy self-worth in clients. Having benefitted from crossing paths with various nurturing supervisors and therapists, this is something I personally stand for. No man is an island.
